About the Intermediate Rider Training (BRC2-Permit)

The MSF Intermediate RiderCourse is ideal for participants who are already familiar with motorcycle riding. This course includes an eCourse, 3 hours of in person classroom training, and 5 hours of on-motorcycle training. The in-person portion of this course takes one day. We strongly encourage the student to bring their own motorcycle to learn on to become a better rider.

This course uses many of the exercises from the Basic RiderCourse, including a Skills Test Evaluation to qualify for a motorcycle permit. Course includes an informal classroom component for discussing safety concepts based on past riding experiences and current knowledge.

The online course is a key component of the Intermediate Rider Course. Graphics and videos illustrate the lessons to help you understand principles of motorcycling. The 3-hour eCourse is included in your tuition. This eCourse is required for completion of the Intermediate Rider Course.

You will be sent an email upon registration that includes a link and instructions for the eCourse. You must bring your completion certificate with you to your first class session. The eCourse must be completed within the thirty days prior to the start of your class.

Do not add a credit card to get your eCourse. Use the link provided in the email. The cost is part of your tuition.
